refunds.energy is a trading division of Efficiency Professor Consultancy (a DBA of WFT Limited). We exist because UK businesses are sitting on billions in recoverable money — and nearly all of them have no idea. Fewer than 15% of SMEs know that undisclosed broker commissions on their energy contract or business loan are recoverable. Even fewer know that claims often survive an IVA or a company insolvency.

Most existing operators in this market are built for scale over substance: form-heavy intakes, call-centre follow-up, opaque fees, and almost nobody serving the post-insolvency cohort at all. We built refunds.energy to do the opposite — a 60-second document-free eligibility check, a named human caseworker for every file, one stated fee, and a dedicated lane for clients who’ve been through distress.

We do three things and we refer out anything else. Business energy. Business finance commissions. Post-insolvency recovery. For personal claims — credit cards, PPI residuals, motor finance — we pass you to a vetted, regulated solicitor panel at no cost to you.

We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We are claims originators: we identify claims, build the evidence, and either settle directly or hand off to a partner litigation firm under a CFA when court is the right route. At every stage, the fee we take is stated in plain figures, and you only pay if you recover.
