This notice explains how refunds.energy uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, in accordance with regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR. We currently set only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the site; we do not set advertising cookies or engage in cross-site tracking.

Cookies we set

• Security cookies. Set by our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) to protect against form abuse, bot traffic and denial-of-service attempts. Legal basis: PECR reg. 6(4)(b); no consent required.

Cookies we do not set

We do not currently set advertising, retargeting, social-network or cross-site-tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics platforms. If that changes, we will update this notice and, where required, seek your prior consent via a cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set.

Third parties

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Vercel may set essential cookies as described above; its privacy and cookie policies are available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. Outbound links (for example to regulators or the ICO) will be subject to the recipient site’s own cookie practices, over which we have no control.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings; guidance is available at ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working correctly, including the eligibility check and contact form.
